Lithography courses

Wednesday morning, weekend and a four day Summer School.
Hand drawn on Zinc plates.
Embrace this delicate process to create limited edition prints full of movement texture and colour. Experiment with a variety of specialist grease based drawing materials to create visually rich, layered images using marks, washes, colour and line.
Materials – inks, processing materials, erasol, prep, cleaning materials, & 1 grained, zinc plate are all included in the course fee.
Paper is not included, this can be purchased from the studio.

Traditional Etching courses
Wednesday morning with Hebe Vernon–Morris
Weekend, Tuesday morning and four day Summer School with Ann d’Arcy Hughes
Explore the possibilities of working with Zinc & Steel to create intricate line, tonal and textured, semi-embossed prints. Learn to work with Hard & Soft ground and create tone using fine & coarse aquatint. Bite your image into the metal with Nitric acid before inking up and printing using either the Rochat or electric press. Learn how to incorporate colour through the use of multiple plates.
Materials - inks, grounds, resin, acid, cleaning materials, muslin are all included in the course fee.
Metal and paper are not included, these can be purchased from the studio.
